Hi! I’ve just reworked my blog. Previously it was using a years-old SSG-but-not-really thing based on shell scripts, which was kind of annoying to work with. I’ve now rewritten it now using Zine, which was really nice. Oh, also, there’s now an RSS feed if you want it.

The rewrite is mainly triggered by a blog post I’ve been working on: I’ve written enough that I’m hoping to soon do the impossible and actually publish it. And, hey, perhaps the new website will motivate me to keep that up afterwards? One can hope.

The old site had only one post, and I opted not to include it in my new list of posts because it’s 6 years old and not very good. However, just in case someone actually found my explanation of monads useful somehow and wants it preserved, I’ve kept it online here and configured the old link to redirect there. It’s my little gift to any functional programmers reading (all 3 of you).

(By the way, I hate that this has to be said, but I have never and will never use an LLM to write a post. I just happen to like using em-dashes—sue me.)

Anyway, that’s it for now—but hopefully more to come soon!
